Yolo County Chapter Information

The American Red Cross of Yolo County has been present in this area since the late 1800s. The chapter has been located since 1953 at its present site, 120 Court Street, Woodland. The current building underwent an extensive expansion and renovation in 1998 due to several major bequests left to the chapter by long-time volunteers. They included Loraine Huston Chalmers, who made the lead gift for the renovation project; Lillian O. White; and the Mr. & Mrs. G. Kirk Swingle Foundation. Memorials were given for the building project by William Bryan Mitchell, Jr., Bernie Gorman, Ann Kinsman, Edith Swafford and Dr. Frank Summers.

Lake County Office Information:

The Lake County Red Cross has been active in the county since it was chartered in 1917. The current location for the Red Cross is on the Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin Street in Lakeport.  The office is open for classes only. Check the schedule for upcoming dates.
