Health/Disaster Fairs and Community Outreach

These are usually one time events, mostly on weekends between 8am-5pm. All training provided. Before attending these fairs, Volunteers must have a basic knowledge of the American Red Cross services and other volunteer opportunities. Since the basic role of these fairs are to raise awareness of the functions of the ARC, Volunteers will pass out info about our functions: such as Disaster preparedness, CPR schedules, Volunteer Opportunities, upcoming fundraisers, etc...Volunteers must be able to help set up pop-up tents if needed, organize paperwork, and be willing to talk to community members.

One Time Fundraiser Events

There are two major fundraisers each year: Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour and Heroes Luncheon. Volunteers help to plan, organize, and set up for these events.
